BETA’s flight control computer (FCC) serves as the nerve center of a modern aircraft. Our innovative FCC has raised the standard for reliability, and performance and is ready for integration into a variety of aircraft platforms.
Proven in the real world and ready to be customized to your control law, our flight control computer (FCC) packs mean time between failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours and carries advanced dissimilarity architectures to ensure compliance with Part 25 certification. Our control logic is pilot input-based, not simply a processor in a box. Need autonomy? That's on our roadmap. And yes, we meet DO-160 lightning protection standards in that little form factor as well.
Our FCC provides a compact solution to fly-by-wire (FBW) flight controls, measuring inputs through rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT) sensors, executing control laws, and digitally transmitting commands to actuators. The hardware and software aspects of the FCC are designed using aerospace industry-standard processes and technologies for high reliability and functional safety. What sets our FCC apart is its ability to handle the complex flight dynamics of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) vehicles.

BETA has refined decades of aerospace engineering expertise into an elegant flight control paradigm ready to fly. The FCC is the foundation of our fly-by-wire (FBW) architecture—a system that allows for flight while saving the weight and complexity of a hydraulic system.
BETA's team of pilots, engineers and technicians have brought expertise from civil, military and commercial aviation to design a flight control system that is simple to build and intuitive to fly.
Our technology powers some of the most innovative aircraft in the industry today. We've partnered with other leaders in AAM to bring our flight controls to CTOL markets, and now we're bringing that expertise to the VTOL sector, enabling truly transformative urban air mobility solutions. As the aviation landscape evolves, our commitment remains constant — to deliver flight control systems of unparalleled quality and performance.
