The Test Technician is responsible for the execution of reliability stress screening of manufactured electronic materials and assemblies in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to ensure superior product reliability and performance for electric aircraft systems. This hands-on role encompasses full cycle test operations, including setup of environmental chambers, vibration systems, and test fixturing; execution of protocols such as Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS), and Burn-in Testing; real time monitoring, failure identification, and accurate documentation and reporting of results.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Set up and operate environmental test equipment including Thermal chambers, vibration tables, and associated fixturing for stress screening of electronic assemblies and components.
  • Execute reliability stress screening processes such as ESS (thermal cycling and vibration), HASS, and Burn-in testing to precipitate latent manufacturing defects, ensuring product reliability in the field.
  • Perform real-time monitoring of test parameters, identify failures during screening, and troubleshoot test equipment/issues to maintain test integrity and efficiency.
  • Document test results, log test data, and sign-off operations electronically using Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in electronics, testing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in product test, preferably involving environmental testing of electronic components or assemblies.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, testing fixtures, and electronic equipment (e.g., multimeters, accelerometers, data acquisition devices, etc.).
  • Ability to follow detailed test procedures and perform basic troubleshooting actions.
  • Proficiency with documentation and data logging; experience with ESD protocols and quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Above and Beyond Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or certification in a STEM field.
  • Experience with automated test systems, HASS methodologies, or aerospace/automotive reliability screening.
  • Knowledge of DO-160 or MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools or software for test reporting.
  • Compensation:

    $ 26 - $ 32 / year
