Thermal Management Cube

An electric aircraft battery thermal conditioning system.

Battery Conditioning System to Support Fast Turn Operations

The BETA TMS manages battery temperature during aircraft charging to enable the highest charging speeds and the shortest turn-around times. It works by circulating a glycol-water mixture through the aircraft’s on-board battery packs. The system uses two closed-loop heat- exchange circuits that include 1) a chiller unit and 2) a BETA TMS Cube. Together, these components actively condition aircraft batteries as they charge, preserving battery performance and safety while accelerating charge operations.
