Statement from BETA Technologies

The Board of BETA Technologies has initiated an independent review of the materials released by the U.S. Department of Justice connected to the Epstein matter and Mr. Kamen’s appearance in the files. Dean Kamen has voluntarily recused himself from all Board activity, as of February 4, 2026.

BETA treats these matters with utmost seriousness and has retained an independent, external law firm to promptly conduct the review. The Board believes this independent review is the appropriate course of action at this time to ensure alignment with our company’s values. Mr. Kamen has said he will readily cooperate fully with the review.
