The Safety Programs Engineer supports the development, maturation, and day-to-day operation of BETA’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Continued Operational Safety (COS) programs. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer support teams, the Safety Programs Engineer leads the integration of safety risk management into day-to-day operations and product lifecycle activities. The Safety Programs Engineer also assists with regulatory engagement and compliance efforts, helping ensure the SMS and COS programs meet FAA requirements and industry best practices as the organization grows.
Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, a collaborative mindset, and a practical, continuous-improvement approach to building an effective and sustainable safety culture.

Compensation:
$ 115,000 - $ 140,000 / year
The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
